(OVERLAND PARK, KAN.) - Congressman Dennis Moore's campaign today announced fundraising totals for the 2006 election cycle through December 31, 2005. Moore has raised a total of $811,355 and has $608,073 cash on hand.
Moore's contributions came from a broad range of donors, including Democrats, Republicans, and political independents. A total of $178,349 was raised during the reporting period.
“The overwhelming financial support for our campaign demonstrates confidence in the moderate, common-sense message I work to bring to Congress,” Moore said. “I truly appreciate the contributions from my supporters and will continue working hard for the honor of serving the people of the Third District.”
The Federal Election Commission requires candidates to file regular campaign finance reports. Moore’s figures come from the FEC report covering the reporting period between October 1, 2005, and December 31, 2005. The report is due January 31, 2006.
